Students for Life of America is working in a post-Roe nation, and we need your help! To abolish abortion completely, we believe that the pro-life movement must be unified in ensuring there is a comprehensive “safety net” for women (and men) facing unplanned pregnancies. This is where paid family leave comes in.

In 2018, members of the Pro-Life Generation collected petitions on campuses across the country, and lobbied on Capitol Hill in favor of fiscally-responsible paid family leave.  Since then, we have continued pushing this legislation and have found more support as we have explained the value this policy provides for families. 

Now is the time to push even harder to get this legislation passed as it is an across the aisle issue that offers real-time financial support in the early stage of parenting when time for physical recovery and bonding with a newborn is most needed. This legislation would allow for your own Social Security monies to be used to replace a paycheck, avoid raising taxes, and is pro-life, pro-worker, and pro-freedom.
